Since 1956, Powerwinch has been a world leader in manufacturing electric trailer winches for the marine industry. In the early 1980’s Powerwinch introduced its first line of anchor windlasses, a product line based on the same technology as trailer winches. The winch line has also expanded for non-marine applications such as farming, utility and off-road winches.
Powerwinch electric trailer winches are designed for boat trailer use and easy loading. Some routine maintenance includes lubricating the cable at least once a year with WD40 or a similar product. Spray the shaft and the cable as the cable is being wound for maximum lubrication.
