Sail area, different rigs, heavy or light displacement, multihull or monohull are all factors which affect a yacht's specifications.Loadings should be obtained from the designer and matched to the safe working load of the hardware.If you would like further assistance please contact your nearest Lewmar office with the following details: Type of Boat, LOA, Beam Draft, Displacement (Loaded), number of crew on windward rail and sail dimensions I, J, P and E.

Lewmar Winch Selection Guide

Wavespring Self-Tailing
The ultimate self-tailing design, that is both simple to use, yet provides a firm grip on the line. Adapts to a wide range of line diameters automatically.

Simple Servicing

No tools are required to service a Lewmar winch. Simply unscrew the top cap with your fingers to remove the needle peen drum and provide access to the centre stem. Lewmar winches are also easy to fit. Simply remove the needle peen drum for access to the deck fitting holes.

Faster, More Powerful

All new first gear ratios provide faster sail handling. Designed to optimize human biomechanical factors and reduce fatigue.

Mounting Instructions
5 x M6 (1/4 in) c�sk head screws on 94mm (3 11/16 in) PCD. Lewmar recommend that the rope enters onto the drum at an angle of 5� to 10� to the base axis of the winch. To achieve this angle it may be necessary to use a base wedge when installing the winch. This product is Made to Order.
