NavStation has the radar function already built-in, so all that is

required to have a highly advanced radar system, is to add a radar antenna, for example

the new aerodynamic DX45 or DX60. The new design radomes are aerodynamically shaped and do not require a separate power box, making them lighter, more attractive and easier to install. 

Developed at the Simrad design centre, the DX45 and DX60 provide a faster update and clearer picture. The new transmitter design is Simrad?s own technology, which has the ability to separate objects and provide a much clearer display that is easier to see and use. Moving vessels can be set as radar targets and are easily separated from fixed objects or land by using the trail feature. While the range can be set at any distance up to 96NM, depending on choice of antenna, multiVision allows the user to select two different ranges viewable on same screen.
