We all know kids love to ride as much as adults - so why shouldn't they have protection in the event that they go through the ice. The MJ6250 Children's snowmobile jacket  is the perfect solution for kids that like to ice ride and parents that want to keep them safe. Comfortable enough for a day's hard riding and durable enough to stand up to anyting a kid can throw at it, the jacket will keep the child afloat and delay the onset on hypothermia.

Ice Rider™ snowmobile suits are stylish, warm, built for total mobility and designed with rugged and durable materials so your suit will last even the most demanding rides.


 

The Triple Layer System - Ice Rider by Mustang Survival is snowmobile apparel designed to withstand the harshest of environments while still providing the comfort, fit and freedom of movement required for riding. Fundamental to Ice Rider's performance is the combination of the outer shell, AirSoft foam, and interior lining.


 

Outer Shell Construction - Ice Rider is made with heavy-duty windproof and weather-resistant materials designed to stand up to the rigors of extreme weather and demanding rides.


 

Insulating Layer - Mustang Survival's unique AirSoft™ closed-cell foam is the insulating layer in each Ice Rider product. The foam traps air for flotation, provides warmth, and offers excellent protection from hypothermia in the event of accidental cold-water immersion. The AirSoft™ foam system is a complete lining, glued at the seams. This provides a protective layer, making the suit water resistant.


 

Interior Lining - Mesh lining provides comfort, quick drainage and improved air circulation to assist moisture evaporation.


 

Collar Design - Each Ice Rider jacket features a 'stand-up' collar design providing unsurpassed protection against wind and cold.


 

Reflective Piping - 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective piping delivers greater night-time visibility and safety when riding.


 

Double Storm Flap - The insulated storm flap provides protection from both wind and snow (not available on Children's Jacket).


 

Venting - Strategic pit zipper ventilation (additional chest vents on the V2) increases air circulation and moisture evaporation.


 

Drainage - A drainage system found along the perimeter of the product allows for rapid release of water after the rider has been rescued or has self-rescued from icy cold water.


 

How Ice Rider Works
In 20 minutes, hypothermia can deprive you of mental and physical capacities, leading to unconsciousness and even death. You might think this will never happen to you but if you ever run a frozen lake, cross a river, a creek or even just a pond, there is always the danger that you might fall through the ice and into icy cold water - it can happen in a heartbeat.

Once in the water, Ice Rider's AirSoft™ foam liner helps minimize the effects of hypothermia, providing thermal insulation. The foam also floats you horizontally, enabling you to pull yourself onto the ice like a seal. Once free from the ice, water quickly drains away while the foam continues to provide insulation allowing you to recover to normal body temperature and survive.

Warranty:  Ice Rider™ by Mustang Survival products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after date of purchase by the end used.  Products, which, in our judgment, have received excessive or abusive use, will not be covered by this warranty.  Should a Mustang Survival product require inspection, please contact your Mustang Survival Dealer.
