The IF1500AIS is an interface box that enables connection of the FURUNO FA-100 AIS Transponder, or any other manufacturer's AIS transponder, to the NavNet vx2 Series radar. Once connected, the NavNet vx2 will be capable of displaying AIS information on the radar and plotter screens. AIS target information from the transponder is selected and sorted, format-converted and then output to the NavNet vx2 series radar.

If the NavNet vx2 radar is on a network or connected to MaxSea software running on a PC, all of the AIS target information will be output to those displays automatically.
