Description

These Rackmount DC-DC Converters are an ideal solution for colocation power source voltage and ground reference differences between Telecom, Microwave and Wireless Cellular equipment. The converters accept a wide input range at 24 VDC or 48 VDC nominal, and produce pure 12 VDC , 24 VDC or 48 VDC power. 100 % input/output isolation eliminates positive ground/ negative ground compatibility problems. In addition the low profile 2 RU chassis conserves precious rack space in the crowded colocation environment.

Highly regulated, Low ripple, isolated DC Converter for telecom power applications

Telecom applications require isolated DC Converters to provide excellent voltage regulation, low noise, and high efficiency. Reliability is vital under continuous duty operation and high ambient temperatures. All these aspects were incorporated in the design of our Rackmount DC Converters. The solid state circuitry is conservatively designed and semi-conductors are selected and tested to withstand 200% of normal operating power.

Output voltage is maintained within 1% for all line and load conditions and the output is well filtered, allowing use with sensitive transceivers and telecom equipment. The case is designed for convection cooling - no fan maintenance required - and features front panel metering and voltage adjustment.
