The four keys on the instrument have helpful icons on the digital displays to help with very simple operation and the extra large characters are made from 13 segments for incredible clarity.

Crystal Clear Information

Instruments are about displaying information and therefore the size and clarity of the displayed information is very important. The new instruments from Simrad have designed to show information in a clear simple manner having one of the largest visual characters in the marine market. This allows the instruments to be mounted in different positions on the yacht such as on the mast for a sailboat or on an overhead console for a power boat, with the information clearly visible.

Easy Installation

"Plug and play" was the design criteria for this new network system. Small robust plugs are used on the ends of the interconnect cables, allowing them to be passed through the smallest of holes making installation so much easier throughout the boat. These ready made cables come in different lengths and are supplied as standard with the system packs. They are also available as accessories when expanding the instrument system. The Speed and Depth transducers connect directly into the back of the instruments by universal fast on (spade) connectors and the Wind and Compass transducers connect directly onto the network system by the "plug and play" cables.
