Radar Option now available
Standard
Horizon Chart Plotter owners with compatible Chart Plotters are
able to upgrade their existing plotter to Radar capable Software
for free by contacting Standard Horizon Marine Product Support at
800/767-2450 and requesting Software update card. To confirm your
Chart Plotter has the software to operate a Si-tex Radar Antenna:
1. Turn on the Chart Plotter and select the chart page. 2. Press
[MENU] and look for a Radar selection in the menu. 3. If the Chart
Plotter has a Radar selection, it has the software. Sitex
compatible radar models: MDS-1, MDS-8, MDS-9, MDS-10-4, MDS-10-5

Radar and download the owner and installation manuals.

C-Map NT+ or MAX Compatible
C-MAP is the
best cartography available. The CP500 comes pre-loaded with
cartography to 2NM scale. If you require greater detail, C-MAP
offers many different chart configurations to suit your needs. the
CP500 has 2 C-Map Cartography slots for larger coverage areas.
2 Video Input and 1 VGA monitor
Output
The CP500 has 2
connection that allows a video signal from a optional camera or
DVD to be connected and shown on the whole display, or a Picture
in Picture window. The CP500 also has a VGA video output which
allows the plotters display to be repeated on compatible Monitors
and TV's at a second station.
Fish finder
The CP500 is
capable being a fish finder and a Radar by connecting the FF520
sounder module.
AIS Targets
Large vessels
routinely transmit their navigation information. The CP500 is
capable of displaying these signals (when optional AIS receiver
connected) as Targets on the chart page in relation to your
position. In addition the CP500 can be setup to alarm when a
target ship is within a specific time or range zone, to alert you
to avoid a collision.
