The Furuno FI503 displays the most important data while navigating, such as depth and speed log functions in a horizontal 3 way split screen. The Sitex SDD-110 operates on working frequency of 120kHz, so it won't interfere with other onboard echosounders. This compact unit - measuring only 4.3" X 4.3" X 3.5" - uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to deliver accurate digital depth readings from 1.5' to 1,375' in easy-to-read numerals. The large four-digit LCD display offers five levels of backlighting, for optimum visibility in all ambient light conditions.

The high-tech, multipurpose Hawkeye fish finders are designed to produce a range of readings from bottom contour, fish location, and thermoclines, to a variety of other useful sonar data. However, the technology used to decipher between these different signals coupled with the configuration of their specialized transducers greatly reduces their ability to give instant bottom readings.
