How do I determine the right size shaft for my boat?
Measure the distance from the water line to the top of your bow, using the point
at which your motor will be mounted.
Add 20 inches to this measurement. The result is the minimum recommended shaft
length for your boat.
The maximum height the boat can sit out of the water for the 54" shaft is 34
inches.
The maximum height the boat can sit out of the water for the 60" shaft is 40
inches.
The maximum height the boat can sit out of the water for the 72" shaft is 52
inches.
